COMPANY PROFILE

Argea was born in 2022 from the acquisition of Botter by private equity group Clessidra, and the subsequent entry of Mondo del Vino.
The Group, which in March 2023 was enlarged to include Cantina Zaccagnini’s wine assets, integrates different realities into a common project founded on quality, development, and sustainability. The main aim is to involve the excellence of the Italian wine sector, their respective cultures, people, territories, and production techniques, while at the same time enhancing their identities and preserving them as an expression of the best tradition.
Argea was born with the ambition to be the accelerator of the Italian wine ecosystem in the world – combining expertise in the production of DOC and DOCG wines and their marketing in international markets, while also promoting a culture of sustainable development among the producers and people it collaborates with.
